I have recently
purchased a lot in the heart of a small city's downtown
area. It was once used by locals to watch movies projected
on an adjacent parking complex, but now the will be forced
to watch 1950s movies in their homes like animals. Those
plebeians always trying to get something for nothing. Don't
get me wrong, I feel slightly sympathetic to their cause. It
would be mildly heartbreaking to have a weekly routine of
watching movies outdoors with friends destroyed because some
millionaire decided to put a new seven story hotel, but
that's life. You can either make a million dollars or a
million tears. The choice was theirs and always has been. I
choose millions of dollars and they choose to cry all the
way home.
It's been two weeks since construction began and I could not
have been happier to have purchased the amount of builder's
insurance from
goldblend.com that I did. Turns out the locals have been
doing a little more than just spilling a few tears. Seems
that they are not above corporate terrorism. In two weeks we
had to rebuild the foundation three times due to sabotage.
Fortunately my builder's insurance covers this and it has
actually made me more money, so that's a plus. I still can't
believe they are so upset about not being able to watch a
free movie now and again. Don't they realize that watching a
movie with walls, air conditioning, and room service is the
only way to truly enjoy a movie. I can't say I spend a lot
of time watching movies, but I would definitely be watching
one in my new hotel.
Four months have gone by and construction is slowly
progressing thanks to all the acts of vandalism on my hotel.
Last week they set fire to the main hallway, which meant I
was finally able to afford the elegant new wallpaper I
wanted. Thanks guys, keep up the good work. The funny thing
is I would not be surprised if they made a movie about this
fifty years from now and a hundred years from now they were
showing on the side of some building. It would be call “The
Hotel That Turned A Small Town Into A Wonderful Place To
Live and How All The Townsfolk Learned to Love And Admire
The Brilliant Man Behind Its Construction.” I think its a
catchy title, but I'll leave that up to those Hollywood
types.
My hotel is finally complete and I could not be more pleased
with the results. The acts and threats of malice on my
beautiful new building have completely ceased. All that
remains is the exquisite structure that impresses all who
lay eyes upon it. None of this would have been possible if
it wasn't for my builder's insurance. In fact they should
make a movie about Building Insurance Man. A superhero for
corporation, protecting the progress and profits from the
backwoods yokels. Because there is one thing I know for
sure, my building insurance has saved the day and jobs of
countless employees.
